In order to provide you with a fixed quote, I need to receive and examine the source document, along with any specific instructions you might have.
Where VAT is due, it will be charged in addition to the quoted fee.
If you require a physical copy of the translation sent to you by post, the delivery costs will be added to the quote.
We will always agree on the delivery date writing so there is no risk of a misunderstanding and we can refer to it when necessary.
If you are able to send a text file (like a Microsoft Word document) rather than a PDF or image file, this will generally result in a lower overall workload and cost.
Whenever possible, digital files are preferred over a physical copy of the document.
The overall cost of a translation will vary depending on the subject matter and how technical the text is; documents of a more general nature are typically lower in price than legal, medical, or highly technical texts.
Additional charges may apply if:
A document is poorly legible (poor quality scans, handwritten text, etc.) as this requires some extra time to work on the document
The layout of the original document is highly complicated
If your project requires high priority, or if we agree to work outside normal office hours to meet the required deadline (rush fee)
