Cambridge interpreting services
The three main types of face-to-face interpreting – consecutive, whispered, and simultaneous – each serve their own unique purpose. To find your best mode of interpretation, you need to find out which mode suits which event best.
Consecutive interpreting involves letting the source-language speaker talk for a few minutes, then interpreting the message for the audience while the speaker pauses.
