I’m currently having a few weeks away from work and it’s amazing! There’s nothing quite like spending quality time with friends and family. I’ve also really enjoyed going on day trips, boat trips and power walks to fight the sedentary lifestyle I tend to lead as a translator. During my time off, I’ve discovered something liberating:

In small doses.
My intention was to go on a digital diet (besides on a no carb diet!), but the temptation to grab my phone and read interesting articles shared by colleagues was too hard to resist. On top of that, I read this article and it made me realise I don’t need to go on a digital diet. I just need to maintain a balanced digital diet.
How about you? Do you think digital detoxing is beneficial in small doses like me, or do you believe in the power of switching off completely?
