At the beginning of this month, the 4th edition of the Smau/Italy RestartsUp event, kicked off in London, strengthening the bridge between the Italian innovation ecosystem and the London and UK tech hub.
The opening networking cocktail was hosted by Italian Ambassador to the UK, H.E. Inigo Lambertini and Dino Sorrentino at the Italian Embassy, on May 2nd (by invitation only). The Italian Embassy in London is one of the most important Italian bilateral embassies in the world.
The Italian Embassy at No. 4 Grosvenor Square is a fascinating place, with a magnificent art collection and a lively history.
The event was addressed to investors, corporates and relevant players belonging to the Londoner’s and UK startup ecosystem, interested in the delegation selected by Smau.
A lineup of 46 Italian startups was present, specialised in Food & Retail, Smart Manufacturing, Energy & Environment, Smart Mobility and eHealth sectors.
The event was organised in collaboration with ITA- Italian Trade Agency.
